AIRS Updates - Vesicular stomatitis outbreak

August 11, 2015

Vesicular stomatitis (VS) is a viral disease affecting horses, ruminants such as cattle, sheep and members of the deer and llama families, and swine. In an effort to provide the most up to date import requirements for commodities affected by the Vesicular stomatitis outbreak, changes to the Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) requirements for HS chapter 01 will be made and published to production on a 24 hours a day, 7 days week basis while the outbreak is active.

The communication of all AIRS changes will be distributed in the same fashion as routine AIRS updates, and will include the same level of information.
