CBSA Message: Courier LVS Program

The following message is from CBSA (EDI10-009). Members are advised we sent a message regarding this on 18 December 2009.

Further to Customs Notice CN09-008 - Goods Released Under the Courier LVS Program Which Have not Been Delivered to the Importer or Owner Thereof.

Please be advised that the changes for sending your B3 confirming entry as a result of CN09-008 have been reflected in the Electronic Commerce Client Requirements Document - Customs Automated Data Exchange (CADEX). These changes are found in Section 9.0 - Low Value Shipments (Type "F" Entry), and an example of the Cadex format is found in Appendix G at the following site: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/eservices/eccrd-eng.html.
