Further to Customs Notice CN17-023 pertaining to the implementation of the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/cn-ad/cn17-23-eng.html), please be advised that the classification file updates and classification files expiries as well as the tariff file updates and tariff file expiries in CADEX format are now available on the CBSA website at:  http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/trade-commerce/tariff-tarif/2017/cadex-eng.html

Given that this will be a large update, the classification and tariff code flags have been turned off until August 2, 2017.  Please note there is a new Tariff Treatment being added to most classification numbers, and as such, the update will be larger than the year end files.  Due to the size of the files, they will not be downloaded into your system.

Action Required: Importers and brokers seeking to update their systems with the new Customs Tariff classification information should download the files from the CBSA website.
