CBSA Message (TCC18-032) – REMINDER - Change to Single Window Initiative technical support

August 10, 2018

Clients Affected: All clients who transmit data electronically

The Technical Commercial Client Unit (TCCU) would like to remind all external clients that since April 1st, 2018 the Single Window Initiative (SWI) mailbox ( is no longer supported during and after business hours.

Your Integrated Import Declaration (IID) inquiries should be directed to the TCCU.

If you have questions pertaining to an IID transmission, we invite you to look at the Services documents on the TCCU web pages. The Service Document clarifies the services provided by the TCCU during and after business hours, as well as the types of questions which should be referred to other areas, thus saving you a call or time waiting on hold during peak periods.

Please note that if you rely on your service provider for troubleshooting system errors and reject messages, we ask that you continue to contact your service provider for your IID inquiries.
