Description:

Saturday December 15, 2018 from 05:00 to 05:30 (ET) and Sunday December 16, 2018 from 05:00 to 05:30 (ET): eManifest Portal users will not be able to view or update business account details, or register new business accounts.   Portal users will still be able to create and submit trade documents.

Saturday December 16, 2018 from 06:00 and 7:00 (ET) and Sunday December 16, 2018 from 06:00 and 7:00 (ET): eManifest Portal users may experience forced re-logon.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Maintenance

Description:

Sunday December 16, 2018 from 04:30 to 06:00 (ET) and from 07:00 to 08:30 (ET): all EDI applications will be unavailable.

This includes: all incoming data or outbound messages such as acknowledgements, reject messages and notices, e.g. RNS, Completeness Notices during this time. 

 

Action Required:

Please refer to the contingency procedures outlined at: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/eservices/contingency-urgence/menu-eng.html or be prepared to resume transmission once the system is available.

For highway carriers, if you are proceeding to the border during this outage, please ensure all drivers are provided with the correct paperwork to present at arrival.

Alternatively, if you already have an eManifest Portal account set up, you may submit trade documents through the Portal during this outage, however, they will be held in a queue for processing until the outage is completed.

 

CCS/CADEX Maintenance

Description:

Saturday December 15, 2018 from 05:00 to 05:30 (ET) and Sunday December 16, 2018 from 05:00 to 05:30 (ET): the CCS/CADEX system will be unavailable

CADEX, Customs Declaration Message (CUSDEC) B3s and AO notification of release queries transmitted to the CADEX system will be affected by this outage.

 

Action Required:  Please be prepared to resume transmission once the system is available.

 

SWI Maintenance

All clients and service providers who transmit trade data using the Integrated Import Declaration (IID) and Document Image Functionality (DIF)

 

Description:

Sunday December 16, 2018 from 04:30 to 06:00 (ET) and from 07:00 to 08:30 (ET): clients may experience delays on when submitting the Document Image Functionality (DIF).  As a result of this delay, the Integrated Import Declaration (IID) transmission related to the DIF may get rejected.

Also, Participating Government Agencies (PGA) may experience delays in processing the IID.

 

Action Required: Between 04:30 and 08:30 (ET) for urgent transactions, paper release requests will be accepted.
