Please note that as part of the Canada Border Services Agency's (CBSA) ongoing efforts to improve client service, a maintenance window of the production database is scheduled for Sunday March 29, 2015 from 05:30 to 11:30 AM (EST).  
 
The CFIA Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application will be unavailable during this time.  This includes all incoming data or outbound messages such as acknowledgements, reject messages and notices.
 
During this time clients are instructed to send release requests to CFIA by fax at (613) 773-9999.  The National Import Service Centre (NISC) will continue to process requests.
