A) Chapter 05 was published to modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end uses “Livestock feed” and “Other end uses” originating from the United States. NO VERSION CHANGE.

05.11.99.1995.02 - Bovine blood meal.
05.11.99.1995.03- Bovine dried, bulk, blood or plasma.
 

B) Chapter 06 was published to:

i) change the release recommendation from “Refuse entry” to “Refer to CFIA-NISC” for the following HS codes with the end use “Propagation (growing or sowing)” and the miscellaneous code “Without soil, related matter or growing media” originating from the United States and destined to British Columbia.

06.02.90.0023.03 - Balsam fir and other Abies spp. - rooted plants (Other Abies spp.)
06.02.90.0027.52 - White fir - rooted plants (Abies concolor)
06.02.90.0027.53 - Grand fir - rooted plants (Abies grandis)
06.02.90.0027.54 - Red fir - rooted plants (Abies magnifica)
 

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.

06.02.10.0011.01 - Balsam fir and other Abies spp. - Unrooted plants (Other Abies spp.)
06.02.10.0021.43 - White fir - Unrooted plants (Abies concolor)
06.02.10.0021.44 - Grand fir - Unrooted plants (Abies grandis)
06.02.10.0021.45 - Red fir - Unrooted plants (Abies magnifica)
06.02.90.0023.03 - Balsam fir and other Abies spp. - rooted plants (Other Abies spp.)
06.02.90.0027.52 - White fir - rooted plants (Abies concolor)
06.02.90.0027.53 - Grand fir - rooted plants (Abies grandis)
06.02.90.0027.54 - Red fir - rooted plants (Abies magnifica)
 

ii) streamline the requirements for the following HS codes with the end use “Propagation (growing or sowing)” and the miscellaneous code “Without soil, related matter or growing media” originating from the United States destined to Newfoundland and Labrador.

06.02.90.0023.03 - Balsam fir and other Abies spp. - rooted plants (Other Abies spp.)
06.02.90.0027.52 - White fir - rooted plants (Abies concolor)
06.02.90.0027.53 - Grand fir - rooted plants (Abies grandis)
06.02.90.0027.54 - Red fir - rooted plants (Abies magnifica)
 

This created a requirement version change for the same HS codes destined to all provinces except British Columbia.

C) Chapter 23 was published to modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end uses “Livestock feed” and “Other end uses” originating from the United States. NO VERSION CHANGE.

23.01.10.1995.02 - Bovine blood meal.

D) Chapter 44 was published to:

iii) change the release recommendation from “Refuse entry” to “Approved” for the following HS code with the end uses “In Transit through Canada to a third country” and “In transit through Canada to the US” originating from the states of California, Connecticut, Idaho, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming and destined to British Columbia.
