CN BIT - Transition to AGS - Begins January 21

BIT Automatic Gate Customer Update

The following message is from CN’s intermodal team.

Beginning Monday January 21st we will begin the transition to the new Automatic Gate System (AGS) at our Brampton terminal.

On a selective basis we will be directing trucks through the camera portal and to our self service gate stands.   Additional staff will be on hand to assist your drivers with this process.   We expect to have one or two inbound lanes converted to AGS by the end of next week.

We are also encouraging all drivers not registered to do this as soon as possible.

You should also know that the old system will still be operating in parallel with AGS until we are fully implemented. This transition is expected to last until mid to late February.

We will advise further as the conversion to AGS continues.
