CN14-032, Update to the Departmental Consolidation of the Customs Tariff
1. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) wishes to advise that the files for the annual January 1st update of the Departmental Consolidation of the Customs Tariff are now available.
2. In addition to the scheduled rate reductions under other free trade agreements that were all previously announced and the implementation of the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement announced in Customs Notice 14-030, the Department of Finance and Statistics Canada made other changes to the Customs Tariff. Below is a list of the tariff items and classification numbers impacted and a description of what type of change has been made:

3. The "Microsoft Access Format" and "CADEX Formatted" files are also available. The necessary changes have also been made in the Customs Commercial System.
