Commercial and Oversized Vehicles Unable to Cross Into U.S. at Rouses Point, NY Starting June 6

Drivers of commercial vehicles are advised to enter the U.S. at the Champlain port of entry further west by utilizing Route 15.

Oversized vehicles and vehicles with something in tow should use the Overton Corners and Champlain ports of entry. Overton Corners is 1.5 miles away from Rouses Point and is the closest alternative. When approaching Rouses Point from Canada on Quebec 223, travelers can drive west on Montee d’ Odeltown Road, and then south on Quebec 221 to arrive at the Overton Corners port of entry...
