Court refuses to enforce truckers hours ruling

A federal court late Wednesday refused to enforce its ruling against the hours of service interim rule for truckers.
Judges Karen Henderson and Merrick Garland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia denied a request by Public Citizen and other advocacy groups to strike down the two most controversial provisions of the rule. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration reissued an interim rule including an 11th hour of driving time and a 34-hour window for restarting the driver's clock. …
