The CSCB has learned that the DFAIT permit issuing system has been down
since 9:45 this morning. The outage apparently prevented DFAIT from being
able to broadcast a message to clients.

The latest update from DFAIT is that: "The HP network technician is on site
and investigating the cause of the shutdown. We don't expect the IPPS to be
available until 17:00, June 25,
2002."
