Excise Tax on Jewellery

The CSCB has been informed by the Canada Revenue Agency that yesterday’s announcement of the removal of excise taxes on jewellery was incorrect, because there were procedural problems with BillC-259.

Please note that there is no change to the excise taxes levied on jewellery and watches at this time. If changes are made, we will inform members as soon as these are finalized.
