Please note that Mexican authorities have informed the Canadian Food Inspection Agency that recently they have received Canadian meat shipments which do not meet Mexican labelling requirements. Some of these shipments are on hold and are not being released by the Mexican authorities.

To prevent occurrence of such incidents, the operators are requested to follow MHMOP CH.11 Mexico Section 11.7.3.5 on Special Marking and Packaging Requirements.
