Impact of CPR Strike in Vancouver

Following distribution of CPR’s national news release on the morning of 24 May, the CSCB asked for input from members concerning the impact of the strike “on the ground”. We have a report from a member in Vancouver that the picket line is blocking export containers drayage designated for Vancouver from anywhere east of BC.

Thus, delays are occurring, and CPR continues to apply for injunctions to limit the extent and effect of picketing.
