Montreal boxes up 9.4%

A sharp 9.4-percent increase in container traffic led the Port of Montreal to record traffic volumes of 26 million metric tons in 2007…   Container traffic increased by just over 1 million metric tons to 12.4 million tons, or 1.3 million TEUs,….  

 

General cargo volume, which includes containerized and non-containerized cargo, gained 7.6 percent to 12.7 million tons.
