Nominate a CBSA Star of 2015

February 10, 2016

Every year, the CSCB CBSA Stars Program recognizes Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) staff across the country for doing their job with knowledge and goodwill and making a positive difference to the trade community every day.

In the last three years of the program, CSCB members responded enthusiastically and nominated over 60 CBSA employees held in high esteem for their knowledge, fairness and service excellence. If you missed the recognition and celebration of last year’s CBSA Stars, here is an article describing each recipient and the CBSA Stars ceremonies held across the country.

We’d like your help in finding the CBSA Stars of 2015. Please tell us about the CBSA person or people whose contribution you would like to acknowledge, and why. The contribution can be a single situation which made a difference to you or your client, or it can be a general attitude of cooperation and professionalism. The person can be someone who works at a local port, a regional office, or at national headquarters. The only conditions are that the person’s position is below the EX or senior management level, and that they did not receive the award in previous years.

If you have someone in mind, here is what we need to know:

  • Your name, company and location
  • The name or badge number of the person you would like to recognize
  • The current role/position of the person
  • What has this person done that you would like to recognize

We look forward to hearing your stories! Please provide those by March 11th, 2016.
