Outstanding AMPS Issues

February 22, 2002

22 February 2002

The CCRA's letter of February 14, 2002, sent by e-mail to members on February 8 under the title Outstanding AMPS Issues, indicated that copies of the NPA would be send to the customs broker when the contravention involved documentation prepared by the customs broker. The CCRA has since advised that they are working on the process by which the NPA would be distributed to the broker. We will advise as soon as this information is available.

The second issue, on whether or not the broker would be allowed access to a client's compliance record, remains under legal review.
