REMINDER: PKI Maintenance Weekend

The PKI Certificate Authority is scheduling system maintenance during the weekend 7-9 November 2008.

The PKI Directory Service will be transferred to a back-up system on Friday, November 7 between 20:00 and 24:00 hrs (midnight) EST, and will revert to the main system on Sunday, November 9 between 14:00 and 18:00 hrs EST. PKI services may be intermittently unavailable during these change-overs.

If your PKI Certificate (Entrust profile) becomes disabled, this would be due to multiple logon attempts while the PKI Directory was unavailable. Please advise the EICS Help Desk BY EMAIL ([email protected]) if you receive a message that your Entrust profile is disabled. We will ensure that it is re-enabled as quickly as possible.

To avoid potential difficulties, you are encouraged to submit applications in advance of the weekend, where possible. Please note that since EICB does not offer support outside of regular office hours (08:00 – 17:00 EST) - nor does the PKI Certificate Authority – any disabled PKI Certificates would not be resolved before the morning of Monday the 10th.
