Revised Vehicle Import Form
The following information is from BP Bauer, Importation Officer in the Road Safety Directorate at Transport Canada.
The Road Safety and Motor Vehicle Regulation Directorate at Transport Canada advises that a revised Vehicle Import Form, Form 1 (13-0132(92-12)) is now available. Members may order the new form immediately from Mr. Laurent Ross at 613-998-1985, or by e-mail at [email protected]. Members are asked to destroy all remaining stock of previous forms.
The effective date for the new form is 8 February 1999; there will be a period of grace until 31 March 1999 inclusive, after which only the new form will be accepted. For individuals (non-commercial) using the old form, Revenue Canada will be asked to use their discretion and to allow entry of the vehicle.
