This message pertains to imports of certain steel goods as listed in the Order Imposing a Surtax on the Importation of Certain Steel Goods.

The purpose of this message is to inform importers that they must now apply for shipment-specific permits for energy tubular goods with the Harmonized System (HS) codes as included in the Schedule to the Customs Tariff that came into force on January 1, 2019.
