Vancouver port strike averted as truckers sign deal

The following was reported on in today's edition of "The Vancouver Sun".

A strike that could have paralyzed the port of Vancouver has been averted now that the union representing truck owner-operators serving the port have signed a last minute contract deal, the union announced Friday.

The union was in a legal strike position on Thursday.
