We are coming to Winnipeg and Calgary!

May 7, 2019

There are four CSCB events happening in Winnipeg and Calgary that you don't want to miss!

Designate Days

We will be in Winnipeg on Saturday, June 1 and Calgary on Sunday, June 2 holding professional development days like no other!

Apart from time to network, Designate Days are a great opportunity to share your passion for HS classification, valuation, and origin, while collaborating with your peers in a three-hour case study session (don't worry, there are breaks!) Designates in Toronto and Montreal have hailed it as "an amazing day", "a great opportunity to learn and share opinions is a friendly environment", "so much fun, with great case studies and getting the chance to “geek out” to HS."

Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn and have fun while you're at it! See more details and register now!

Prairie Regional Seminars (Conferences)

Like never before, we are holding two regional annual events in the Prairies - in Winnipeg on Friday, May 31 and Calgary on Monday, June 3!

The main session will focus on CARM, first a presentation on where we are with the design phase, followed by a workshop where you'll have an opportunity to express your opinions and concerns on CBSA-proposed solutions on financial security, billing cycles, offsetting and payment allocation, accounting, and more!

There will also be a session specific to local border issues. In Winnipeg, a panel of CBSA speakers includes Josh Croghan, BSO; Nicole Pearson, Superintendent; Gerald Tetrault, Senior Trade Compliance Officer, Tim Hink and Robyn Ingram, Superintendents. In Calgary, the panel includes Marwan Chehade, Senior Trade Compliance Officer; June Duthie, Superintendent; and Tim Ziola, Chief.

Don't miss it! Register for the Winnipeg seminar or the Calgary seminar now!
