Will you consider becoming a CSCB Director?

June 24, 2016

Each year, we look for volunteers to join our hard-working Board of Directors where they can have the opportunity to directly influence the priorities of the CSCB which for the coming year are likely to include a planning exercise related to the next 2-3 years and development of a governance framework for the Board.

Five positions are available for a two-year term, 2016-2018 and one position is available for a one-year term, 2016-2017, completing the term associated with an existing vacancy. Post-election but prior to the first meeting of the new Board, successful candidates will be contacted by the Chair of the Nominating Committee. If a volunteer does not come forward to accept the 1-year term, the Chair of the Nominating Committee will oversee a draw for the selection of the individual who will hold that 1-year position. It is expected that your activity as a CSCB Director will require a minimum of 12-15 days per year.

Interested individuals are encouraged to submit their names to the Nominating Committee for consideration. Please refer to the Director Job Description for details on the duties and responsibilities of CSCB Directors.
