The winner of the CTCS HS Challenge draw will attend the first-ever World Customs Organization HS conference, titled Revitalizing the HS: What is needed for a 21st Century Harmonized System? which will be held on May 2-3, 2019 in Brussels, Belgium! (view preliminary program)
Here are the detailed Terms and Conditions:
The CSCB will be drawing from a pool of CTCS designates who successfully completed the HS challenge and registered for the draw.
The random draw will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. The CSCB will draw a winner and a runner up, in the event the winner cannot participate. The winner will be notified right away. Results will be announced.
Have successfully completed the HS Challenge,
Confirm the possibility of time off with their employer,
Have a current Canadian passport, or the ability to obtain one by February 25 (or a foreign passport and a visa, if applicable),
Agree to hold a post-conference interview with the CSCB about your experience (audio, video, article).
- Register the winner for the conference,
- Cover the cost of a 4-night stay at a pre-selected hotel (includes breakfast & wifi),
Cover the cost of economy airfare (not to exceed CDN $1,500 in total),
Manage hotel and airfare arrangements with the winner.
- Select own arrival and departure dates (prior to and after the conference dates),
- Cover any costs in addition to those which the CSCB offers, above.
In the event the winner is not able to attend, the runner up will be notified of the opportunity.
CSCB Board members and staff are not eligible for the draw.
