CSCB Webinar: CPTPP – Textile & Apparel Rules of Origin and Beyond

Registration is now closed.

On October 29th, 2018, Canada ratified the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The agreement took effect on December 30, 2018. The CPTPP includes a stand-alone chapter that includes specific provisions related to textiles and apparel goods.

We'd like to invite you to our next webinar, featuring Richard Lepage of CBSA, Martin Thornell of GAC, and Bob Kirke of Canadian Apparel Federation, moderated by our own Michelle Criger to discuss this chapter in greater detail. Specifically, we will focus on the rules of origin, origin declaration & verification process, record keeping and audits. We will also dive into some examples and cautionary tales.

We'd like to thank all those who have provided questions and examples for this webinar!
