Notice from CN -- Automated Gate Hours at Edmonton Intermodal Terminal

Since the implementation of the AGS (Automated Gate System), the gate hours at the Edmonton Intermodal Terminal remain as stated below:

Monday to Friday        05h00 – 21h00

Saturday and Sunday        07h00 – 15h00

Please note that ingating is only allowed within the above timespans.

Effective immediately the terminal will no longer be closing the physical gate on the off-hours. The terminal hours remain the same and access is still not allowed outside of the regular terminal hours. We have noticed that drivers are pulling-up to the AGS gates prior to 05h00 and lining-up to get into the terminal. Since ingating is not allowed, this is resulting in congestion, which impedes access for service vehicles, such as fuel trucks.
