[US] Customs proposes e-payment for harbor maintenance fees

The [US] Treasury Department and Customs and Border Protection are proposing electronic filing of quarterly harbor maintenance fee payments or refund requests.

The agency said the changes are intended to provide the trade with expanded electronic payment/refund options for quarterly HMFs and to modernize and enhance Customs' port use fee collection efforts.
