The following is information concerning this year's civic holiday in Québec on Thursday, June 24th, 2010. For all clients, overnight reports will run the evenings of Wednesday, June 23rd and Thursday, June 24th, as usual. Daily notices/statements covering B3 entry data Wednesday, June 23rd will be generated with a statement date of Friday, June 25th if the accounting office is in the province of Québec. In all other provinces, these K84's will be statement dated Thursday, June 24th, 2010.

Goods released on Thursday, June 24th in the province of Québec will be deemed to be released on Friday, June 25th, 2010. Goods released in all other provinces on Thursday, June 24th will be deemed to be released on Thursday, June 24th, 2010. Should penalties appear on the statement of a client who is affected by the civic holiday, please FAX your application for waiver to 613-946-0242.

The CSCB has asked CBSA if they will be granting leniency for late payment of June's K84; CBSA has advised that they will not.
