External Power Supplies and Standby Power

NRCan has published a notice that clarifies proposed regulations for External Power Supplies and Standby Power. The proposed regulations were pre-published on June 12, 2010, in Part I of the Canada Gazette.

If the regulations are published as proposed, all products manufactured after July 1, 2010, are regulated products that must comply with the regulations if they are imported or cross provincial borders for the purposes of sale of lease.
