Canada's trade deficit shrinks in October

Canada's trade deficit with the world narrowed more than expected to C$1.71 billion ($1.69 billion) in October from a revised C$2.31 billion deficit in September, in spite of a declining trade surplus with the United States, according to Statistics Canada data on Friday.
NOTE: Analysts surveyed by Reuters had on average forecast a deficit of C$2.10 billion in October, with exports at C$33.50 billion and imports at C$35.70 billion. ($1=$1.01 Canadian)
