This quarterly survey poses ten qualitative questions regarding the business climate and investment intentions to senior officers of approximately 1,500 Canadian business organizations.

Canada’s business community continues to show confidence in the economy, though sentiments did decline slightly in the first quarter of 2011. The Index of Business Confidence now stands at 106.2 (2002 =100), after having risen to a 10-year high of 109.5 in the final quarter of 2010.
