Customs Information Day in Vancouver

Revenue Canada will host a Customs Information Day for importers, exporters and the travelling public on Saturday, June 19, 1999, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre, 999 Canada Place, Vancouver, British Columbia.

The information day will feature an exhibit area with over 30 booths representing Revenue Canada, US Customs Service, US Immigration and Naturalization Service, as well as other Canadian federal government departments and private sector associations. Information seminars based on a variety of customs- related topics such as the GST, importing, exporting, NAFTA and tips on international travel will be presented. There will be customs detector dog demonstrations and as an added bonus, parents can have their children participate in their own seminar, as well as the child identification program known as "Kinderprint."
