ViaSafe named to Profit's Hottest Startups

The following message is from ViaSafe, a CSCB associate member and business partner.

Profit, the national magazine for Canadian Entrepreneurs, announced that ViaSafe Inc. ranked in the top 15 of the best young companies in its second annual ranking of Canada's Hottest Startups.

During the past two years, ViaSafe, a leading international trade connectivity services company, has experienced revenue growth of over 1400 per cent, and an increase in the number of employees from four to 12. To accommodate current and expected growth, ViaSafe is moving to offices twice the size of its current offices and quadrupling the capacity of their computer center and network in the month of September.

"The entire ViaSafe team is very proud to be recognized in this way", says Wael Aggan, President and Co-Founder of ViaSafe Inc. "Making it onto this list confirms the strength of our proprietary technology and the strong need for our services in the international trade marketplace. We have a customer base of over 120 businesses in international trade including the major customs brokers, carriers, importers and government departments. The secret of our success comes from our motto "Think Business". This means our focus from day one has been on the business needs of our clients and not solely on technology."

"Canada's Hottest Startups is the definitive list of this country's most dynamic new businesses and exciting entrepreneurs," said PROFIT publisher and editor Rick Spence. "As a group, these aggressive companies are pioneering new levels of innovation and customer service. They are focused on unique new niche markets and they're targeting the world."
