Customs Notice N-461
The following Customs Notice is available on the CCRA web site:
N-461 Customs Bonded Warehouses – Security
This provides notice to importers, exporters and service providers about the new provision for the amount of security provided to Customs for the operation of Customs bonded warehouses. The amount of security required has been reduced to 60 per cent of the total value of the maximum amount of duties and taxes that would be payable at any time in the year following the issuance of the licence in respect of the goods stored in the Customs bonded warehouse that year.
