Update to Customs Notice N-413

Members were advised by the CSCB in June 2002 that once paragraph 43.1(1) (c) of the Customs Act comes into effect, Advance Rulings will replace National Customs Rulings on issues of tariff classification. We have now been advised that the expected date that this will come into effect is 1 April 2003.
