Request for Assistance for “Lord of the Rings” Fans

The CSCB national office gets occasional requests for assistance from the importing public, and of course we try to do our best to accommodate these. Last week we received a letter from the Vice President of “The Gathering of the Fellowship, 2003”, looking for help in identifying a customs broker who can assist their group with their Customs requirements for the December, 2003 event in Toronto.

“The Gathering of the Fellowship, 2003” is a three-day event with delegates from around the world. According to the Vice President, there will be a trade show with vendors from throughout North America. She notes that many of the delegates will want to bring their props (swords, shields, archery equipment) with them, and they would be looking for advice in this regard.

If your company has expertise in conventions of this type, please contact the national office (at [email protected]) and we will be pleased to forward your information to the organization involved. Many thanks!
