Time Frames for Release of Goods - Marine Carriers
The CCRA has released a copy of a memo to Regional Directors advising of a policy change in the time frames for the release of goods. This policy relates to marine carriers and RMD clearance.
Customs will now allow the importer or broker to submit an RMD request to the customs office of destination as long as one or more of the containers have arrived at the destination sufferance warehouse.
