Notice to Exporters No. 141 supplement

On March 11, 2004 the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade issued Notice to Exporters 141 concerning the verification of shipments of softwood lumber to the United States without an export permit. In this Notice, the deadline for Canadian exporters to request that the department's Export and Import Control Bureau verify shipments is March 31, 2004.

This message is to advise Canadian exporters of softwood lumber that the deadline for submitting requests to verify shipments has been extended to April 30, 2004. A Notice to Exporters informing companies of this change will be issued shortly.
