Outage on Weekend of 8-9 May 2004

The following is a message from the Electronic Commerce Unit at the CBSA.

EDI Mailbox outage:

Please be advised that due to scheduled maintenance, the mailboxes between ACROSS and CCS/CADEX will be down on Saturday, May 8, 2004 from 5:00 am to 5:30 am and on Sunday, May 9, 2004 from 3:00 am to 3:30 am (EDT).

General EDI Outage:

Also for maintenance purposes, the Customs EDI system will be unavailable from 4:00 am until 8:00 am* (EDT) on Sunday May 9, 2004. This will impact all EDI applications including: ER, RNS, CUSDEC, CADEX, Marine, Rail and Highway Cargo. No EDI messages will be transferred to or from the Canada Border Services Agency (formerly the CCRA) during this outage. Clients are requested to present paper documentation to obtain release of the goods during this outage.
