Reorganization of the CN CSC

The following message is from the CN Customer Support Centre.

On Sunday. July 4th, the Winnipeg Customer Support Centre restructured in order to align our Customer Support Units with our Operating Regions and Divisions. The key objective in this reorganization is to strengthen the Operating-Customer Support teams charged with executing CN's service plan to ultimately provide an even higher level of service… During this restructuring, every effort has been made to minimize changes to Customer Support Representative (CSR) assignments with the majority of the CSR-customer changes already completed and communicated.

With the new Apropos contact-routing technology we implemented earlier this year at the CSC, we no longer require separate 1-8xx numbers for CSR contact within specific units in the CSC, with the exception of the Grain Products Group and the Intermodal Unit. A single contact number will now route your queries to specific CSR contacts and Customer Support Units. If you are dealing with the Grain Products Group or the Intermodal Unit, please continue to use the existing contact numbers.

Since Sunday, July 04, 2004 at 0001 CDT, the main Winnipeg CSC contact number is:

1-866-9-CN-RAIL (1-866-926-7245).

Our email addresses have also changed in order to match the new structure. If you need to confirm which addresses to use, please call your Customer Support Representative. Our old contact numbers will remain in place for a brief transition period.
