CFIA Requirements: Importation of Honeybee Queen

Members are advised that for imports of Honeybee Queens, as for any other live animals that require an inspection at the first point of entry, CFIA DOES NOTE allow EDI releases.

To obtain release, CFIA requires that all requests for release approval be submitted by paper.

If an EDI transaction is transmitted, a reject notice will be sent with the following note: EDI not allowed - submit paper.
