Service and Web Site Interruptions -- Possible service interruption

The following message is from the CITT This message is found at:

http://www.citt-tcce.gc.ca/includes/important_e.asp

Please note that employees of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) belonging to Table 1 of the Public Service Alliance of Canada will be in a legal strike position as of October 7, 2004.

In the event of any work stoppage, the CITT will endeavour to remain open for business and ensure that service to our clients continues with the least possible disruption or delay, as legislative time frames governing the proceedings in front of the CITT will continue to be applicable.

Accordingly, unless otherwise specified, all the time frames established by the CITT for the filing of documents will continue to apply. While work stoppage may prevent hand deliveries from being made, it remains the responsibility of parties to file documents according to the time set in the notices governing the schedule of each case. Parties are encouraged to send material by fax at 613 990-2439, or by email at [email protected].

Information, notices and decisions will continue to be posted on our Web site. There might however, be some delays. Your cooperation and patience is appreciated. We will continue to fax our decisions to the parties involved in the cases as usual.

Should there be public hearings scheduled during this period, please contact the Secretary CITT at (613) 993-3595 for further information. All other questions should also be referred to the Secretary.

This notice will be updated on a regular basis.
