CN Derailment near Floods, BC - October 24, 2004

The following message is from Customer Services at CN.

At 0215 PST Oct 24th, train 823-957 derailed near Floods, BC approximately 45 miles west of Boston Bar.

This is on Canadian National Railways main line between Kamloops and Vancouver. Arrangements have been made to detour CPR's traffic around the site until line clear which is estimated to be at 1200 PST Oct 25th.

Shipment delays can be expected. Unknown at this time when operations will be fully recovered following line clear.
