CFIA allows importation of broiler chicken breeder hens and broiler turkey breeder hens from Brazil
The following message is from Dr. Lou Skrinar, Chief, Import Program, Food of Animal Origin Division.
Effective immediately, the importation of broiler chicken breeders and broiler turkey breeder hens from Brazil is allowed.
The new conditions will be placed on the CFIA web site, at http://www.inspection.gc.ca, under the Manual of Procedures, Chapter 10, annex A; please note section 3, which specifies required attestations that must appear on the Official Meat Inspection Certificate for these meat products.
