Clothing and Textiles 2004 Shipments entering in 2005

The following message is from the EICB.

There is a problem in the EICS Permit Application-Expert that is affecting 2004 shipments of clothing and textiles from restrained sources (export licence required) that are due to enter in 2005. Applications applied using Permit application-Expert are being denied.

Until further notice, applications for 2004 restrained clothing and textile shipments should be applied using Permit Application-Standard interface in eics.

The situation with Permit Application-Expert is being addressed and further information will be forthcoming.

EDI is also being reviewed to determine if a similar problem exists.
