Revision to Directive D-97-04 – Plant Protection Act
Directive D-97-04, “Application, procedures, issuance and use of a permit to import under the Plant Protection Act”, has been revised and is available on the CFIA web site, at:

This revision contains an amendment to section 2.2. The CFIA will no longer accept applications for Permits to Import submitted by customs brokers on behalf of their clients. The importer (person or company) must submit this application.
