Message from CN to Deltaport Customers

The following message is from CN’s Vice President of Intermodal.

In reference to the latest letter from TSI Deltaport where in they refer to customers being restricted to 2004 volumes if they have not provided their CN account manager with a 4 week rolling forecast. CN wants to assure its customers that by no means do we advocate any form of allocation of volumes at Deltaport. Rather our goal in gathering the 4 week rolling forecasts is to help us better plan our operations and prepare for the growing volumes.

This accurate visibility of the volumes moving to Deltaport will assist us in assigning the required number of railcars and minimize the on-dock delays at the terminal. At the same time the forecast will give us a better indication when volumes are approaching TSI's stated and current capacity of 16,000 ft/day.
