Message from CN regarding Vancouver Startup May 2nd
Starting Monday 02 May 2005 all export traffic delivered to CN at Vancouver Intermodal terminals must have a reservation. The sheet (at http://www.cscb.ca/listinfo/cnvancouvermay2.pdf) summarizes the reservation process. Reservations requests will be accepted beginning on Thursday 28 April 2005. It is important to review the attached process. Should you require additional clarification, please write to [email protected] or call 1-866- 851-7837. The reservations group will be available Monday - Friday from 07:00 - 19:00 and from 10:00 - 14:00 on Saturdays.
As clarification, requests to deliver traffic to CN Vancouver on cut-off day will be prioritized if the request is received prior to 11:00 two business days before cut-off. For example request must be received before 11:00 Wednesday for a Friday cut-off.
