Update regarding CBSA Systems Problems

The following message is from the Electronic Commerce Unit of the CBSA.

The following is to confirm that the system problems encountered last week have been resolved. As far as we know, the source of the problem has been isolated to being related to the firewall. Our IT is continuing its investigation into the matter to determine the exact cause, preventative measures (if possible), and how this issue could have been resolved quicker. That being said, we regret the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

For those clients who had accounting transactions due over the previous days and who were directly affected by the Internet Gateway outage or the VAN outages, please FAX your application for waiver to the Entry and Accounting Group at (613) 946-0242.
